Fakhruddin Ali Ahmad Memorial Committee was constituted by the U.P Government under the aegis of National Integration Department in the year 1976. At present the Committee is working independently under the control of Language Department, U.P. Government.

The Fakhruddin Ali Ahmad Memorial Committee was formed in the year 1976. The main objectives of the committee are too provide financial assistance to Urdu literateurs for publication of their works, to provide financial assistance to PhD and D.Litt researchers in Urdu for preparing clean copies of thesis.
